Text message received from Mark Chmielewicz. He had reached out to some of us prior to the meeting and was in attendance last night.

Good productive meeting Paul. Only 1 participating parcel owner spoke up, Wally with the manure/insecticide spray comments. Not sure but I don't think any other participating landowners were in attendance.

My huge takeaway from this was the recommendation that adjacent/affected property owners be made aware of the project months ago by SunEast Skyline Solar, they chose not to. That to me and especially to the board should be a huge red flag. And it goes well beyond them damn well knowing this location would be met with huge resistance. Their application should be denied just based on the lack of consideration for adjacent home owners whose lives are vested in their properties, please point this out to the whole board, and on the environmental assessment page 9 E. it takes some lack of humanity not to check the residential box.

Maybe they can learn something from their denial which should  occur quickly so the Champions can get their crops in on time with the already purchased seed!

A girlfriend of mine referred to my property as the wild kingdom and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service visited my 10 acres on consultation, totally impressed by the variance of habitat and wildlife on my property. My land is legally protected including soil and vegetation from any change, incorporated into my deed on their advice.
